- Trailing 5-0, Northwest clawed one run closer in the top of the fifth when Barratt led off with a single. After swiping second, Barratt moved to third on Fort's single before scoring when
Kolby Greenslade grounded out to third.
- Gotta led off the top of the eighth with a solo home run. Lewis singled in a run later in the inning after
James Holler and
Kevin Handzlik drew walks. Barratt then reached on an error, plating Handzlik and ending the day for the Broncho starter. Lewis later scored on a passed ball, narrowing the gap to 9-5.
- Gotta picked up his third hit of the afternoon in the top of the ninth before reaching third on an error. Adams sent Gotta home in the next at bat when he lifted a sacrifice fly to right.
