Key Northwest Innings- Greenslade singled with two outs in the top of the sixth. Gotta came up next and blasted his first homerun of the year to right, tying the game 2-2.
- The Bearcats broke it open in the seventh. Adams, Hrdlicka and Wulff loaded the bases with no outs. Lewis singled to right, scoring Adams, then Handzlik and Douglas were both hit by pitches, driving in two more runs. After a strikeout, Gotta singled to left to drive in a run and Fort reached on an error to score Northwest's fifth run of the inning. Adams, who started the inning, was hit by a pitch and Hrdlicka singled to center to drive in the seventh run of the inning, giving the Bearcats a 9-3 lead.
- Northwest added two more in the eighth as Meyer singled to right center with one out. Greenslade singled and both moved up a base after an error by the third baseman. Gotta hit a sacrifice fly to drive in Meyer and Fort singled up the middle to drive in Greenslade to make it 11-3 Bearcats.
